Microsoft Surface Hub 2 for Salespeople

I am a technology fan, so I always try to utilize them to my use. There are so many possibilities to use modern devices in different combinations and impress your buyers with magic tricks.

Microsoft has announced its brand new product - Surface Hub 2, and I became extremely excited by its incredible screen size, responsiveness, device integration and definitely design.



Microsoft positions it as a team collaboration device, because of its built in capabilities of video calls, mutual screen interactions and connectivity -


"Turn any space into a teamwork space"

But for me its another flashy device to impress my potential clients. It not only emphasizes the modernity and collaboration possibilities of your workforce but it can make every presentation interactive. How to use surface hub 2 for your sales goals


Imagine your client coming into your office (and yes it happens quite a lot of times, deepening on business), you ask them to sit comfortably on the couch, you leave for 10 seconds and roll in a massive touch screen designed like a flip chart. The first impression.


But beyond the fist impression it pushes the boundaries of interactive presentation where your client is involved in navigation himself. He interacts with the presentation with just push of a button or a pen - the flow of information is much different in his "buyers mind" than for standard projector presentation.


You may ask -

whats new in touchscreens?

There is nothing new in giant touch screens, or sales people using them to promote their products. I have seen them in some situations, but let me give you 2 arguments to better explain my excitement.


Argument #1


I have tried lots of Microsoft surface products, and their responsiveness, new design and pen are flawless.


Most of the giant screens that are used now lack these features, sometimes they lag, dont respond to interaction and it definitely hurts the user experience.


But this will not be the case for Hub 2. It has incredible design, and even though i have not used it personally, I assure you that touch responsiveness will be perfect.


Argument #2


Most of the times, companies dont use special software to create a presentation User Interface and launch the product photos or videos directly from windows desktop ...

To be honest, its not impressive at all.


This kind of behavior completely lacks the immersion, you dont want buyers to be distracted by unnecessary stimulus, you need their focus on your brand and your product. Imagine if linked in used third party application every time you want to read article on your wall.


So did you know that you can design an application like power point presentation for touch screens? Where you just run it full screen and you dont need to leave the interface for any kind of occasions?


How to create touch screen presentation


There is nothing hard in creating touch screen presentation. It just requires little more time to build the system and create a clear UI.


You see, power point has a very powerful feature - insert Hyperlink. It's in a menu, when you right click any object on the slide.



Than open the dialogue, switch to place in this document and voilla - choose the slide -



Now you have a direct link from one slide to another.


You may design a initial starting menu for each slide and then add the BACK button on every other slide with direct link to the menu slide.
